Dear Everyone,

Department for Culture, Media and Sport logoIt is extremely important that we keep up the pressure to save the library from closure. Although the outcome of the judicial review has been deferred to early October there is something that we can all be doing NOW which will give added weight to our campaign. Please try and send a letter to the DCMS and get at least one other person to do the same. This is vital. Even if you have sent one before.

Please see above for a template letter that you can use, but it is just a template. You can follow it to the letter or just send in your own words why we must save the libraries and why we should have a public enquiry.

I know a lot has been asked of people from Kensal Rise/Kensal Green during this campaign, and you are constantly been asked to support one thing or another (and you certainly have), and this is another request, but now is not the time to slacken our efforts. Remember what is will mean to our community to lose our library.

Our community needs the library!

Thanks to John for supplying these instructions and to everyone for their support.

Regards,

Margaret Bailey
