Unfortunately, local councillor James Powney, who is also responsible for libraries, has now deemed that the consultation document is “skewed” – because 37% of the respondents use Kensal Rise Library! Powney is still set on closing our library. Stop him by writing to Council Leader Ann John (email@example.com) and other members of the executive. Urge them to take into account the results of Brent’s own consultation process. The council decide on Monday April 11th.
