Tim Coates Presentation, Kensal Rise Library – Thursday 24 March, 7pm

Come and hear famous (and sometimes controversial) Tim Coates give a presentation on how he thinks Brent Council can make savings to its library service budget and retain libraries at the same or similar current levels.

Tim, previously the managing director of Waterstones and active campaigner for improvements to the public library service in London, has over 40 years experience in commercial publishing and is the author of many reports on libraries, including ‘The Good Library Manual’. He has advised ministers, councils, the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, and the audit commission, to name a few.
