Neasden library

A small campaign to save Neasden library has begun – there is petitioning outside the library in Neasden Town Centre on Saturday 19 February from 10am. It is a small campaign as yet so anyone who can help will be much appreciated.

Read In at Cricklewood library on Saturday 26th February from 10.30am to 2pm to show support for the campaign to save the library.

Kensal Triangle Association support our campaign

KTRA passed the following resolution at their February meeting:

The Kensal Triangle Residents Association condemn and oppose the closure of Kensal Rise Library and call upon our elected representatives to find a way to provide the means to save this valued local facility.

KTRA ask Brent Council to review their plans to fund the cost of building a new library section for the Civic Centre and propose a scale back development over a 2 year period in order to reallocate this funding to support exisiting libraries in the borough currently threatened with closure.

Council propose demolition of Willesden library

Brent Council is now proposing to demolish Willesden library.
